"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) God is a holy God. We cannot stand before Him, nor enter into heaven, in our sin. But God has made a way. He sent His own Son, Jesus Christ to be crucified on a cross for our sins.

Jesus took the punishment we deserved upon Himself so that we could be made right with God. "For He (God) made Him (Jesus Christ) who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." (2 Corinthians 5:21) But, it didn't end there. God raised up Jesus from the grave, and He is alive today, sitting at the right hand of God in heaven!
How do you receive this wonderful gift of salvation through Jesus Christ?
"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10)
If you truly believe as shown above, all you need to do is ask Jesus to be your personal Savior and Lord. Pray from your heart in your own words or something like this:
Dear God, I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son and He died on the cross to pay the price for my sins. I believe that You raised Him from the dead so I might have new life in Him. I repent of my sins and ask you to forgive me. Jesus, come into my heart; be my Savior and Lord. Help me to live for You and to fulfill the wonderful plan God has for my life. Thank you, Lord, for saving me. I am a born-again child of God. Amen.
